Brenda Jo Tucker Bass, 77 passed away Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She is the daughter of the late Elmore and Rachel Tucker. She was retired from Hamilton Beach and the Town of Faison as a secretary. She was a volunteer with Area Churches in Action, enjoyed plants and gardening, and loved her grandchildren.

A service of love and remembrance will be held on Tuesday in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. The family will receive friends following the service.

She is survived by her son, Billy “Joey” Bass and wife, Stefanie of Mt. Olive; and grandchildren, Logan and Kara.
