Mount Olive Chamber Annual Community Banquet Set For March 3

After a two-year delay due to COVID-19, the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Community Banquet will take place. It will be held on Thursday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Building (708 N. Chestnut Street). Tickets are $20 for chamber members and $25 for all others. Tickets can be purchased at the Mount Olive Chamber of Commerce or at the door. A RSVP by February 28th is required to attend. The entry fee includes a sit-down dinner catered by Texas Roadhouse followed by the awards program.

Highlights of the evening include the presentation of eight awards by the Mount Olive Chamber of Commerce including the Ruff Huggins Lifetime Community Service Award, Moses E. King Contributions to the Community Award, Lillian B. Langley Award, Spirit of the Chamber Award, Distinguished Educator, Distinguished Senior Citizen, Distinguished Youth and Business of the Year. Recipients from 2020 & 2021 will be recognized at this year’s banquet. In addition, some community awards will be presented.

The Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce was established in 1930 to promote economic development and market the community.
