Stevie Dan Wiggins, 69, of the Thunder Swamp area of Mount Olive, passed away Saturday morning, February 5, 2022.

An informal gathering in remembrance of his life will be held Thursday, February 10, at 1:00 p.m. in the Wiggins Family Cemetery (corner of Thunder Swamp and Old Smith Chapel Roads).

Stevie Dan was the son of the late James Stephen and Helen McCullen Wiggins. His life’s work had been in the farming community where he operated heavy equipment for area farmers.

He is survived by his sisters, Debbie Wiggins Frazer and husband, Chuck, of Goldsboro, and Barbara Wiggins Hinson and husband, Donnie, of Atlantic Beach; two nieces, Leslie H. Pearson and husband, Bryan, of Wilmington, and Brittia Rivard and husband Marc, and their daughters, Elaina and Hailey Rivard, all of Unionville, Connecticut; and an extended family to include many friends.
