Roger Allan McIntosh, age 57, passed away on Friday at his Wayne UNC Health Care. Born in
England, he was the son of the late Buck & Judy Harris McIntosh and brother of the late Jerry McIntosh. Roger was a very simple man, but there was nothing he wouldn’t do for you. He was a very loving, friendly, and outgoing person. He enjoyed working in his shop, hunting and fishing with his son, Dakota, and was very proud of his son, Greg’s military service, but most of all he loved his grandchildren and family.

A service to celebrate Roger’s life will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm by the graveside at Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Bartlett officiating. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Roger is survived by his wife, Connie Knowles McIntosh; sons, Greg Stroud and wife, Miranda, Dakota McIntosh; brothers, Carlton McIntosh and wife, Vivian, Michael McIntosh and special friend, Segrid, John McIntosh and wife, Rhonda; sister, Wanda M. Jackson and husband, Allen; along with five grandchildren.
