Three Arrested During Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Task Force Investigation

(GDN) — Three Goldsboro residents are arrested on drug and weapon charges following a raid by the local drug task force. 

The Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Task Force says it’s been investigating narcotics and weapons violations in the Lincoln Homes area in the city.  A search warrant was executed at a home on the 1100 block of Olivia Lane on Wednesday.  Approximately 260 grams of marijuana, seven grams of cocaine, three firearms (two of which were reported stolen), and various other paraphernalia and currency were recovered at the residence. 

22-year-old Brian D. Darden, 40-year-old Carolina D. McNeil, and 21-year-old Isaiah D. Gray were arrested and placed into the Wayne County Detention Center.  Two other persons were issued citations on-scene for simple possession of marijuana and released. 

The drug task force says the investigation is ongoing and further charges are expected.
