(GDN) – It appears the weekend may get off to a snowy start once again. The forecast has improved since yesterday with the National Weather Service expecting less than an inch of snow to accumulate in the Wayne County area. Rain this evening is expected to transition to snow after midnight and continue into Saturday morning. The slippery conditions are expected to leave roads hazardous for drivers into Sunday. Winds are also expected to gust as high as 35 mph overnight. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Wayne County and the surrounding area from midnight through 11 AM on Saturday.
