Rita Lupe Miranda Franzwa, age 59, passed away Saturday. She was born in Morenci, AZ and was employed with the First Baptist Church Child Care Center in Goldsboro.

A service to celebrate Rita’s life will be held Thursday at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Phillips officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Reynolds; her parents, Frances & Jose P. Cuevas; her children, Chris Cabral, Mariah Cabral, Cody Franzwa, Bryce Reynolds, Samantha Reynolds and Charles Reynolds; her brothers, Greg Miranda, Frank Duran and Peter Cuevas; her sisters, Berna Castañda and Anna Ceuvas; three grandchildren, Indy Williams, Aria Williams and Iris Williams and all other beloved family members.
