Ricky Allen Ballance, age 63, passed away on Monday morning at his residence. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Laster Ballance and Estelle Head Ballance and father of the late Rebecca Ann Ballance.

At Ricky’s request, there will be no formal funeral services.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lane Edwards; his sons, Joshua Allen Balance and Ricky “R.J.” Ballance, Jr.; his daughter, Jessica Ballance  Martinez; two brothers, Randy Ballance and Jerry Ballance; a sister, Betty Jean Strickland; and five grandchildren.
