Joyce Pate Crumpler, 91, of Tommy’s Road passed away Monday at the residence of her daughter, Darlene C. Andrey, Fremont.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11 AM at Evergreen Funeral Home, 3888 Hwy 70 West, Goldsboro. The Rev. Barry Williamson and Dr. Josh Whitfield will officiate.
The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Christy Gandy, 141 Windyfield Drive.
She is survived by son, Dennis Crumpler and wife, Pam of Hillsborough; daughters, Darlene C. Andrey and husband, Scott of Fremont, and Christy C. Gandy and husband, Carry of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A native of the Belfast Community, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond David Crumpler, Jr., her parents, Eva Scott Pate and James Brantley Pate, brothers, Charles Pate and Dewey Pate, and grandson, Josiah Dennis Crumpler. She was a member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church where she was an active member in the Friendship Sunday School Class.
