January 25, 2022, 70, Goldsboro –

Gary Donald Stephenson, 70, of Goldsboro formerly of Lakeland, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home just one day shy of his 71st birthday.

Gary loved taking care of the yard and creating special projects in his woodworking shop. His children nick- named him “Mr. Fix It”. Paw Paw Gary will be missed greatly by his grandchildren.

All services will be held by the family.

Mr. Stephenson was born in Melbourne, Florida on January 26, 1951 to the late Robert Louis Stephenson and Marie Frances Stearns Stephenson.  He was a faithful member of Family Worship Center in Lakeland, Florida while his health permitted.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Ann F. Stephenson; his son, William Ray Hull and fiancée, Karen Amos of Clermont, Florida; two daughters, Tracy Lynn Nipper of Okeechobee, Florida and Cammy Sue Nehring and husband, Brian of Goldsboro; one brother, Joel Stephenson and wife, Cindy of Melbourne, Florida; one sister, Laurie Baechle and husband, Russ of Ocala, Florida; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way!

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
