January 21, 2022, 78, Grantham –

Bobby Earl Cordell, age 78 of the Grantham Community, passed away in the early morning hours of January 21, 2022, at Wayne-UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.  He was born in Wayne County to the late Bobby & Sarah Cordell.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Della Ray Cordell.  Bobby was an employee of the Village Square Coin Laundry. 

Spending time with his family was very important to Bobby.  He also loved to watch wrestling and go fishing. 

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. 

He is survived by his daughter, Amelia Carlock & husband, Billy of Grantham. Three Grandchildren, Natashia Johnson (Josh), Bubba Carlock, Aleeshia Lovelace (Michael). Four Great-Grandchildren- Keagen Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Nevaeh Lovelace, Amelia Lovelace.
