(GDN) — The incoming storm is expected to bring a heavy mix of winter’s worst to Wayne County.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Wayne County and the surrounding area.

Total snow accumulations of 2-4 inches and a light glaze of ice are anticipated.

Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions that may impact the morning and evening commutes on Friday.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of emergency.

The Winter Storm Warning is in effect from Thursday evening through Saturday morning.
