January 15, 2022, 80, Goldsboro –

Margaret Cowan Sullivan, 80, of Goldsboro, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior while surrounded by her family.

Born in Wake County on April 18, 1941, she was the daughter to the late Frank Cowan and Marie Hobbs Cowan.

Margaret is survived by her four children, son, Frank Cowan and wife, Judy of Wilmington; daughters, Ellen Handy and husband, Mark of Elon, Marie McMullen and husband, Don of Goldsboro, Loretta Colie (Nash) of Goldsboro; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lorena Deberry and husband, Jackie of Raleigh, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jarvis Sullivan; sister, Jay Eason and nephew, Jeff Eason.

At her request, no formal services will be held at this time.
