Noble Gentry Strickland, 22, of Smithfield, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at home. Noble was born in Johnston County on April 4, 1999 to William Earl Strickland and Renee Gentry Horton.

In addition to his parents, Noble is survived by stepfather, Donald Jones of Princeton; grandparents, Bill Adams and Wanda O’Neal of Selma; siblings, Rachael Horton of Princeton, Jadd Horton of Smithfield, Amber Morey and husband Nick of Lucama, Daniel Horton of Erwin, Richard Strickland, Sandra Strickland, Jonathan Strickland, Adam Strickland, Elizabeth Strickland; nieces and nephews, Mikayla Brown, Shaun Horton, Skylah Horton, Mason Horton, Everett Morey, Arlo Morey; significant other, Myra Olivares, and several other family and friends.

Noble was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed football and cheering for his favorite team, the Panthers. While not working, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews who he loved. He will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
