Barbara Walston Jordan, 80, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at her home. Born in Greene County on June 21, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Larcey and Thelma Smith Walston.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Larcey Walston, Jr.

Barbara is survived by her son, Phillip Jordan and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Emily Burke and husband, Jonathan and Rachel Clough and husband, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Rayleigh Burke and Beau Clough; and sister, Adean Harrell and husband, Billy Ray.

A graveside service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at the Pikeville Cemetery with Rev. Thayer Stamper officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
