GPD Seeks Info On Vehicle Break-Ins

(GDN) — The Goldsboro Police Department is looking for information on a series of vehicle break-ins.  The GPD responded to several reports of theft from motor vehicles in several areas of the city on Sunday.  The officers conducted foot patrols in these areas and also found more vehicle entries that the owners had not yet reported.  In total, 27 vehicles had been entered illegally during the early morning hours.  The affected areas include:

  • Briarcliff Apartments – N. Spence Avenue
  • Spence Place – N. Spence Avenue
  • Oak Brook Apartments – N. Spence Avenue
  • Tanglewood Apartments – Cashwell Drive
  • Hilldale Lane
  • Billy Francis Drive

The Goldsboro Police Department also reminds citizens to lock their vehicles at night, and take any valuables inside.
