On Wednesday, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Kenneth Ray McCullen of Goldsboro on charges of duplicating child pornography. This investigation was initiated after a cybertip report was sent to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. This joint investigation was conducted by the SBI and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office through their participation in the North Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. McCullen was arrested at his residence and charged with nine counts of FElony 2nd Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. McCullen is currently being held at the Wayne County Detention center under a $500,000 secured bond. The sheriff’s office says the investigation is ongoing.
