The following schedule changes will be taking place this week in observance of Christmas:

• City of Goldsboro Offices will be closed December 23, 24 and 27 for Christmas. Thursday and Friday solid waste routes were serviced Wednesday, Dec. 22. There are no changes to the garbage collection schedule for Monday, Dec. 27.
• County of Wayne Government Offices closed Thursday, December 23, 2021 through Monday, December 27, 2021. Offices will re-open Tuesday, December 28, 2021 for normal business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will close at 6:00 pm on the 22nd and will re-open on the 28th for normal business hours.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed the 23rd through the 27th. The senior center will re-open on the 28th for normal business hours.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed on the 24th and 25th. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open on the 27th for normal business hours.
