Marijuana, Opiates Found During Kinston Traffic Stop

(GDN) — Monday night, the Kinston Police Department pulled a vehicle over in its DDACTS (Data-Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety) zone.  During a search of the vehicle, officers reportedly discovered six pounds of marijuana, Oxycodone and Xanax pills, and three illegally-possessed firearms.  Two adults in the vehicle were arrested while juvenile petitions are being sought for a third subject for numerous felony charges.

21-year-old Ke’monte Nobles was charged with:

  • Carry Concealed Gun – Felony
  • Possession of a stolen firearm
  • Trafficking Opiates (4 counts)
  • Possess with intent to sell MDMA
  • Possess with intent to sell Schedule IV
  • Possess with intent to sell Schedule VI
  • Maintain a vehicle / distribution of a controlled substance

18-year-old Kameron Howard was charged with:

  • Possession of Firearm by Felon
  • Possession of a Stolen Firearm
  • Trafficking Opiates (4 counts)
  • Possess with intent to sell MDMA
  • Possess with intent to sell Schedule IV
  • Possess with intent to sell Schedule VI
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
