Chamber Presents Awards During Annual Banquet (PHOTOS)

(GDN) — The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce marks an exciting year in the local business community.  The Chamber held its annual banquet on Thursday at Walnut Creek Country Club.  Several awards were presented during the evening:

  • Small Business of the Year: Regeneration by Design, PLLC
  • Ollie Toomey Volunteer Service Award Winner: Sherry Archibald
  • W.I.S.E. Woman of the Year: Dr. Patty Pfeiffer, Interim President of Wayne Community College
  • Cornerstone Award: Chuck Allen

It was also announced that Wayne County Chamber President Kate Daniels has been named to the Association of Chamber of Commerce’s Executives (ACCE) ’40 Under Forty’ for national recognition of Chamber professionals for her work.

The Chamber will set a date for the unveiling of the Cornerstone Award Winners that will be installed at The Hub. All former Cornerstone Award Winners will be placed in the wall at The Hub.
