December 5, 2021, 85, Kenly –

Julia Mae Pollard Jackson, 85, of Kenly, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at UNC Johnston Health Care in Smithfield. Julia was born on October 6, 1936 to the late George Ransom Pollard and Sadie Jane Radford Pollard.

In addition to her parents, Julia is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry Jackson; brothers, Robert Pollard and William Pollard, and a sister, Margaret Holland.

Julia is survived by her son, Donald Jackson and wife Patsy of Kenly; daughter, Teresa Holloman and husband Johnny of Kenly; grandchildren, Krystal McArthur and husband Bobby, William Jackson and wife Jennifer, Christina Jackson, Tiffany Gooding; four great grandchildren, Summer Gooding, Noah McArthur, Gabriella Mujalli, Everleigh Jackson; sister, Eva Massey and several other family and friends.

Julia was a faithful member of Fellowship United Methodist Church. She enjoyed doing word searches, cooking for her family, and sewing but most importantly spending time with her family and friends who she loved. She will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Fellowship United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 8 2021 at Fellowship United Methodist Church located at 5755 Rains Crossroads Road in Kenly with Reverend Cody Mark and Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship United Methodist Church Cemetery.
