Beverly Anne Bevins Martin, 58, of Mount Olive passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 30, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband; Eugene C. Martin, Jr., of the home; her children, Hunter Martin and his wife Elizabeth of Fort Riley, Kansas, Kelly Strickland and her husband Royce of Calypso, NC and Scarlett Martin and partner Bill Clark of Bailey, NC. She is also survived by her sisters; Melanie Deel and husband Mike of VA, and Pam Collier and husband Darrell of VA; her cherished grandchildren, Carrly, Rylan, Reagan, and Ranger Strickland all of Calypso, and Landon and Kimber Martin of Fort Riley. Beverly is also survived by her step-father, Charles Upchurch of VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry R. Bevins and Sandra Edens Upchurch; her maternal grandparents, Everette “Buster” and Maxine Edens, and her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Daisy Mullins Bevins.

Beverly was an employee of Cates Pickles for 26 years and most recently was employed with Beacon Roofing Supply for 10 years. She was a faithful member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Goldsboro, NC.

A Celebration of Beverly’s life will be held on Friday evening, December 3rd at 6 o’clock at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro, NC with her pastors Bill Rose and John Howard officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request memorials are directed to the youth program at The First PH Church of Goldsboro, where her grandchildren are currently involved.
