Rosalind Harrison Wiggins passed away Monday evening, November 29, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Lenoir County to the late Clifford Lynde Harrison and Ramsey Joseph Harrison on April 28, 1943. In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glenn Wiggins; son, Robert Glenn Wiggins, Jr.; and granddaughter, Cecelia Rose Wiggins.

A service to celebrate and remember Rosa’s life will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation in the hour before the service, from 10-10:45 a.m., as well as other times at the home of her daughter, Maria. Committal services will be held at Fairview Cemetery immediately following funeral services.

Rosa is survived by her children, Maria Wiggins and husband, Jimmy, Benjamin Wiggins, and Chris Wiggins; grandchildren, Mitchell Glenn Wiggins, Robert Bryan Wiggins, and Christopher Peyton Wiggins; and one sister, Edie Harrison Bailey.
