(GDN) — Just after 5 PM on Thursday, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 5900 block of Saint Thomas Court in Grifton for a reported shooting.  Deputies found 20-year-old Jy’Quavaion Daniels has been shot and killed.  A juvenile was found on the property and quickly taken into custody.  The crime scene investigation determined the juvenile suspect had shot and killed the victim inside of the residence.  Sheriff Ronnie Ingram says the juvenile was related to the victim, and they’re trying to determine what led to the shooting.  The homicide is beleieved to be intentional. The suspect has been confined at a juvenile detention facility under no bond for an open count of murder.  The case remains under investigation.
