(GDN) — There’s an increased fire hazard risk again today.  The National Weather Service says the increased fire danger goes into effect at 10 AM this morning and is in place until early evening for Wayne and surrounding counties.  Behind a cold front pushing out of the region today, humidities under 30% will combine with gusty winds and the abundance of dry leaves and other tree debris to create the elevated risk for adverse fire behavior today.  Outdoor burning is discouraged.
