HOPESGIVING 2021: Food & Fellowship For All!

HOPESGIVING 2021: Food & Fellowship For All!

(GDN) — Not everyone is able to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family.

Others just don’t want to do all of that cooking for the feast, and some may not have the means for a holiday meal.

This year’s HopesGiving meal in Goldsboro gives everyone the opportunity for fellowship and plenty of food on Thanksgiving.

Ja’Shawn Faire is the founder of Hope For Goldsboro, and he says support for the free community meal has been flooding in with donations of food, money and personal time.

This is the second year of the HopesGiving meal.

Faire says they’re in a larger building this year, and they want to fill it with hungry people.

The menu for the HopesGiving meal includes turkey, grilled BBQ chicken, baked mac & cheese, and more.

Faire says he love people, and he’s excited to meet them and get to know their stories.

The HopesGiving meal is being served this Thanksgiving Thursday, November 25, from 11 AM – 2 PM at the Dillard Goldsboro Alumni and Friends Building at 801 Poplar Street in Goldsboro.
