Mr. Chester Davis, 85, passed on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at home. The celebration of his life will be held graveside on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:00am at Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC.

He was born in Wayne County, NC on September 6, 1936 to the late Arthur and Sadie Lee Smith Davis. He was married to the late Sarah McMillan Davis. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sara Denise Davis Winbush and his son, David Lee Gibson. He is survived by his daughters; Robin (Berkley) Graham, Debra (Rodney) Bailey, Jestine Davis McLamb, Bettie Davis Broadhurst, Lisa (Ronnie) Newkirk, Angela McLaughlin, and Evelyn Kaye Swinson; 18 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; his siblings: James Davis, Arlene Williams, the late Jesse Miller, Lola Mae Allen, Reather Lee Davis, Dalphine Neal, and many other loving relatives and friends.
