Jackie Evans Bunn Barbee, 86, of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Always Compassionate Home Care in Fremont. Jackie was born in Johnston County on February 9, 1935 to the late Ernest Clifton Evans and Kizzie Peedin Evans Godwin.

In addition to her parents, Jackie is preceded in death by her husbands, Jessie Bunn and James Ray Barbee.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Elaine Bunn Daughtry and husband David of Princeton, Connie Bunn Cox and husband Steve of Goldsboro; son, Joel Bunn and wife Mawan of Goldsboro; and several other family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held in the Princeton Cemetery.
