(GDN) — The Town of Seven Springs starts getting into the holiday spirit this weekend.
The Seven Springs Christmas Parade is being held this Saturday, November 20, at 3 PM. The parade does offer its entrants the chance to throw candy from the floats to kids in the crowd.
Also, Seven Springs holds its Trim-A-Tree event on November 27th at 6 PM at the old rescue building at the corner of Highway 55 and Main Street. Trim-A-Tree features live music and a visit from Santa for the kids while the community helps decorate the town’s tree.
Donations of toys for girls or boys ages 4 – 12 would be appreciated at either event. The toys will go to the local schools to help make some children’s Christmas a little brighter. Toys can be dropped off at Neuse River Trading on parade day or at the Trim-A-Tree.
Anyone with questions on the Seven Springs Christmas Parade or Trim-A-Tree event can contact Ronda at 919-222-9290.
