(GDN) — This Tuesday, the Kinston Police Department was following up on complaint of possible criminal activity near Viking Drive.  Officers made a consensual encounter with 18-year-old Davontae Moore of Kinston and allegedly found a stolen Smith and Wesson handgun and a small amount of marijuana.  Moore was arrested for Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Simple Possession of Marijuana.  He was placed into the Lenoir County Jail under a $5,000 secure bond.
