A Veterans Day tradition returns to Wayne County. 

Following last year’s cancellation due to the pandemic, the Wayne County Veterans and Patriots Coalition’s annual Veterans Day Parade returns to Downtown Goldsboro this Thursday, November 11. 

Bill Graham is the CEO of the Wayne County Veterans and Patriots Coalition.

He says it appears there will be very good participation in this year’s parade, with close to 100 units already entered for the procession down Center Street.

Graham suggests everyone to take a moment on Veterans Day to celebrate and honor all of those veterans who returned home from service and those who didn’t return home.

Lineup for the parade begins at 9:30 AM on Thursday and the parade steps off at 11 AM. 

Following the parade, there will be a memorial service at the Wayne County Veterans Memorial across from the courthouse at 12:45 PM.
