Rebecca Ann House Cain, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at her home.

Born in Duplin County on July 9, 1940, she was the daughter of the late James Eloise House and Mary Odessa Carter House.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Donna Crider and husband, Robbie of Georgia; son, James Daniel Cain and wife, Jaime of Alabama; grandchildren, Hanna Clardy and husband, Chandler, Daniel Ethan Cain, Maddox Cain, Walker Cain, Zachary Crider and wife, Lauren, and Zev Crider; great-grandchildren, Alice Crider and Amelia Crider; and brother, Donald House and wife, Ann.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Howard “Jim” Cain.

A service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
