Time For New WCC Students Apply And Register

Students planning to take classes at Wayne Community College next semester should apply now for admission and financial aid.

Before new students can sign up for Spring 2022 classes, they must be accepted into the college. The steps that new students need to take can be found at www.waynecc.edu/apply-now/.

Registration for Spring college credit courses begins this week. Students can register from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 9 on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro. Registration continues during regular business hours through Dec. 13. In January 2022, registration will be open 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on Jan. 3 and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Jan. 4.

Spring semester classes offered on campus and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, as well as online, start Jan. 5 and end May 6.

A schedule of courses can be found at www.waynecc.edu/course-schedules/.

Now is also the time for students to apply for financial assistance. Learn more about financial aid options and the application process at www.waynecc.edu/financial-aid/.

Students who graduate from North Carolina high schools in 2020 and 2021 may be eligible for a Longleaf Commitment Grant of up to $2,800 per academic year for two years to cover tuition and fees. They will be automatically vetted for the grant if they complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The college’s payment plan is another option. Details are available at www.mycollegepaymentplan.com/waynecc.

Tuition and fees are due on Dec. 13 for students who register for classes through 4 p.m. on that date and by 4 p.m. on Jan. 4 for those who register in January.
