November 2, 2021, 65, Princeton –

Timothy Paul Peacock, 65, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at UNC Johnston Medical Center in Clayton surrounded by his family. Tim was born in Wayne County on December 12, 1955 to the late Paul Peacock and Eula Mae Crawford Peacock.

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Peacock and Bobby Peacock.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Carli Strickland and husband Chad of Pikeville, Megan Deaver of Micro; grandchildren, Hunter Peacock, Gavin Gray, Chalie Strickland, Brecken Deaver; brother, Jimmy Peacock of Smithfield and extended family and friends.

Tim was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a member of the APA Pool League and former umpire for baseball and softball. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching action packed movies and western TV Shows but most importantly spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, November 5, 2021 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel in Princeton with Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM and following the funeral services at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations. Burial will be private at the Peacock Family Cemetery.

The family suggests that anyone attending the services dress casual per Tim’s request.
