Mary Ethel Trybek, 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Life Care Center in Ocala, Florida.

Mary was born in Chattanooga, TN on April 1, 1930 to Geneva Joiner Brown and Herman Leighton (Hoss) Brown. She was the first of seven children. She is preceded in death by her loyal, loving husband, Major Raymond J. Trybek, Retired United States Air Force, her parents, H.L. (Hoss) Brown and Geneva Joiner Brown, and her brother William E. Brown (Brenda) of Cleveland, TN.

Mary has two surviving brothers, Johnny Mack Brown (Dottie) of Chattanooga, TN and Charles (Charlie) Steven Brown of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. Sisters, Evelyn J. Buice (Raymond) of Anderson, SC, Judith Ann Denham (Gene) of Chattanooga, TN , and Linda Carolyn Cook, (Paul Spencer) of Ocala, FL.

She is also survived by Raymond’s younger brother, Gordon Trybek, (Ann) of Stangelville, WI and many nieces and nephews on both sides.

Mary was a graduate of Jellico High School. She worked for the Department Of The Air Force for 20 years and received multiple recognition awards for her many years of work with Civil Service.

Mary had a deep love for all animals, especially horses, dogs and cats and one particular Guinea. She was a kind, gentle soul always giving to charities that provided care for the needy and abandoned animals.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Mary’s life at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. Mary will be laid to rest beside her adoring husband in Wayne Memorial Park.
