Benjamin Andrew “Andy” Daughtry, 49, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care. Born in Wayne County on August 13, 1972, he was the son of the late Rev. Benjamin Donald Daughtry and Janet Rose Mozingo Daughtry.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his sisters, Debbie Sasser Albright and Wendy Daughtry.

Andy is survived by his wife of three years, Michele Daughtry; brothers, Jack Sasser, Donnie Sasser; nieces Windy Albright Amory, Emily Albright; nephews, Matthew Sasser, Jackson Sasser.

Andy was a dedicated and faithful member of Blended Fellowship in the Pikeville Community. He was active in the Deaf/Blind Community and enjoyed going to all their camps, as well as Camp Vandemere with his church family.

A service to celebrate Andy’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Blended Fellowship, 2091 Big Daddy’s Road, Pikeville NC. Pastor Doug Seymour will be officiating. An opportunity for viewing will be from 6:00 pm – 6:50 pm. Visitation will follow the service.
