Two Suspects Arrested Following Goldsboro Armed Robbery

Just before 11 PM on Wednesday, the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the report of a robbery on the 1800 block of N. Berkeley Boulevard.  A victim was reportedly robbed of cash at gunpoint. A suspect description and vehicle information were obtained, and officers began canvassing the area.  Members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office spotted the described suspect and vehicle in a parking lot on the 2400 block of Highway 13 North moments later.  The suspect, 21-year-old Kymean D. K. King of La Grange was arrested for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.  43-year-old Tracy L. Broadie from La Grange was also found in the vehicle and she was arrested for Accessory After the Fact to a Felony.  King received a $600,000 secured bond, while Broadie’s bond was set at $50,000.  Both suspects were placed into the custody of the Wayne County Detention Center.
