This is the final week of Early Voting before the November 2nd Municipal and Sanitary District election. The only Early Voting location in Wayne County is the Wayne County Public Library, 1001 E. Ash Street in Goldsboro. Same Day Registration will be available during the Early Voting period with current proof of residency. The Early Voting is available from 8 AM – 5 PM through this Friday, October 29, and from 8 AM – 3 PM this Saturday, October 30.
This is a small election, with only 33,000 of Wayne County’s 74,000 registered voters eligible to participate. To be eligible, voters must reside within one of the three participating municipalities (Towns of Pikeville, Seven Springs or Village of Walnut Creek) and/or five participating sanitary districts (Belfast-Patetown, Fork Township, Eastern Wayne, Southern Wayne or Southeastern Wayne).
