Guest NC Symphony Musician Coming To Goldsboro Library

This Thursday, October 28 at 11:00AM, the Wayne County Public Library in Goldsboro will have a special story time featuring an NC Symphony musician as part of the Symphony’s Music Discovery Program. The Music Discovery program, funded by PNC Grow Up Great, is geared for preschool and elementary-age children and their families. The 30-minute program features an NC Symphony trombonist, Matt Neff, reading a book about music, talking about his instrument, and how other instruments make sounds – plus more surprises!

Participants may register for the event by calling 919-735-1824 ext. 5105. While having a library card is encouraged, any preschool and elementary-age children and their families may participate.

The library will also be hosting a Jack o’ Lantern Jamboree on October 28th at 4:00PM which will feature stories, games, crafts, and more. Attendees are welcome to wear costumes and bring a fake pumpkin to enter into the library’s contest.
