Arlon Glenn Thompson, 62, of Smithfield, passed away on October 15, 2021 at his home. Arlon was born in Johnston County on January 14, 1959 to the late Willie Eddie Thompson and Edna Capps Thompson Sanders.

In addition to his parents, Arlon is preceded in death by his brother, Willie Harold Thompson.

Arlon is survived by his sister, Janette K. Thompson, of Selma.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm, on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Reverend Johnny DeCorte’ officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton.  A private burial will be held at the Thompson Family Cemetery in Smithfield.
