October 9, 2021, 72, Goldsboro –

Sandra Kay Herring Conner, 72, of Goldsboro, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Sandra was born in Wayne County on November 22, 1948 to the late Nathan Daniel Herring and Dorothy Mae Worley Herring.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Harris and husband Floydie of Goldsboro; sons, Woodrow Wilson Conner III and wife Karen of Morehead City, Thomas Dwayne Conner and wife Veronica of Shalimar Florida; brothers, Danny Herring and wife Pat, Gary Herring and wife Angie; grandchildren, Floydie Harris Jr. and wife Jesse, Landon Harris and wife Maryanne, Troy Harris, Carson Harris, Joey Conner, Jordan Conner, Jayden Conner, Nathan Conner, Dillon Conner; great grandchildren, Ayden Harris, Ava Harris, and Charlotte Harris.

Sandra enjoyed traveling and taking road trips during her retirement. She loved to garden and tend to her flowers but most importantly spend time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A private service will be held for Ms. Conner with Reverend Ray Brown officiating. The burial will be at Progressive Church Cemetery in Princeton.
