Randall James Hann Jr., better known as Jim, 82, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on October 11, 2021. Born to Randall James Hann and Emma V. Hillier on June 7, 1939 in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant and retired from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Upon his retirement, he enjoyed his travels driving “Mrs. Sandy” in their Bounder motor home to dog shows. The owned and operated Shrado Kennels with 52 Great Dane champions with one being the Top Dane in the country, best known as “Fridge”.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Dorothy “Dot”; great-grandchildren, Randall James Hann IV and Christopher Hann.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Grant Hann of 62 years; his two daughters, Sheryl Head and husband, Donny of Snow Hill, Donna Montgomery and husband, Roger of Fayetteville; his son, Randall Hann III and wife, Robin of Pikeville; grandchildren, Tonya Tart and husband, Josh: great-grandchildren, JC Toler, Chelsea Toler, Heather Weaver and husband, Wesley, Josh Weaver, Hannah Weaver, Chantel Covas, Russell Pittman, Shawn Covas, Gaige Covas, Abbie Owens, Jase Owens, Tristan Brinkley and wife, Katrina, Jacob Fox, Landon Barnes, Wesley and David Troyler Barnes; and his sister, Marilyn.

A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Wesley Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

The family will also receive friends at the home of Jim and Sandy Hann at 757 Forehand Road in Pikeville on Friday.
