October 5, 2021, 75, Lucama –

James “Jimmy” Casey, age 75, of Lucama, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 surrounded by his family at his home. Born in Wayne County on June 17, 1946, he was the son of James Emmett Casey and Elizabeth Gregory Casey. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Casey Campbell and two brothers, Nelson  Barrett Casey and Samuel Thomas Casey.

A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held Sunday at 5:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Ira Williford officiating. The family will remain to receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Leann Casey; daughters, Teresa Bridgers, Kelly Smith, Tammy Casey and Tosha Santos; his sons, Doug Casey, Scottie Casey, Tyler Casey and James Casey; his sisters, Mary Stevens and Barbara Norris; his brothers, Jack Casey and Cecil Casey; He was also blessed with multiple grandkids and great-grandkids.
