Pamlico Air Adding Nearly 250 Jobs In Wayne County

Hundreds of new jobs are coming to Wayne County.

CleanAire, LLC, an air filtration manufacturing company doing business as Pamlico Air, recently created over 400 jobs in Goldsboro.

On Wednesday, Pamlico Air announced a few hundred more jobs were coming to its facility on Woodland Church Drive.

Harry Smith, CEO of Pamlico Air, says the air filtration is “booming,” and they’ll continue investing in Wayne County.

Smith noted State House Majority Leader John Bell had a big influence on getting Pamlico Air to Wayne County.

Wayne County Development Alliance President Mark Pope says Pamlico Air was one of the fastest economic development projects during his tenure.

Pamlico Air’s expansion will create an additional 249 jobs and an additional capital investment of $6.6 million.

Pamlico Air’s Goldsboro manufacturing plant produces a wide variety of air filtration products and equipment ranging from residential air filters for homes to high-efficiency air filtration products for hospitals and healthcare settings.
