James W. Boswell, Sr., age 72, passed away Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Wayne County, NC, he was the son of the late Mavis C. Hare and the late James T. and Lola Boswell. He was a retired truck driver.

Services will be held at a later date.

James is survived by his wife, Brenda Gooding Boswell;  two sons, James Wiley Boswell, Jr. (Crystal) and Robert Eugene Boswell;  brother, Larry Boswell;  sisters, Faye Gurganus, Rose Capps and Patricia Gardner;  grandchildren, Stephen Lowman, Jr., Kayla Boswell, Alie Boswell, James Thomas Boswell and Robert Boswell, Jr.;  great grandchildren, Kody, Kaydence and Piper.
