Debbie Newell Anderson, 68, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care. Born in Wayne County on May 10, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Bill Newell and Dorothy Davis Newell.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul Anderson; daughter, Paula Anderson; son, Travis Anderson; grandchildren, Abby Hamilton and Colton Anderson; siblings and their spouses, Bill and Doris Newell, Wanda and Ronnie Holland, Gary and Susan Newell, and Dale and Gail Newell; and several nieces and nephews.

Debbie was co-owner and bookkeeper of Paul’s Tire and Service Center. When her health allowed Debbie was a dedicated and faithful member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in many areas.

A service to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at New Hope Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday and at other times at the home.
