Donald Nelson Beasley, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Brian Center Health & Rehab in Goldsboro. Born in Wayne County on March 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Hubert Ashley Beasley and Coralean Collins Beasley. Donald was also preceded in death by his sister Mary Francis Ferrell.

Donald is survived by his sons, Donald Nelson Beasley, Jr. and Ashley Beasley (Amanda); sister, Debbie J. Beasley; brothers, Hubert Ray Beasley and Danny Beasley (Teresa); and four grandchildren Darian, Dylan, Charlotte, and Olivia. He is survived by his niece and caregiver Donna Ellen Triplett and a host of other nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate Donald’s life will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
