Rosewood’s Jaylee Amy emerged as the top individual female runner and helped Rosewood claim the girls’ portion of a three-team meet contested on Tuesday afternoon.

Amy ran the 5k trek in 22 minutes, 26 seconds. Carson Crane completed the course in 26 minutes, 18 seconds. India Young (28:43) and Abigail Rowe (28:54) crossed the line third and fourth, respectively.

On the boys’ side, North Duplin finished in first place with Neuse Charter coming in second.

Noel Rangel (18:48) and Genaro Pacheco crossed the finish line in first and third, respectively, for North Duplin. Rosewood’s Alex Jones (18:54) wound up in second place, while Jones’ teammates Andon Timmons (20:51) came in third.
