Crack-Cocaine, MDMA Amongst Items Seized During Traffic Stop

On Wednesday last week, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department Housing Unit and Selective Enforcement Unit pulled a vehicle over on the 1600 block of Royall Ave for an equipment violation. A K-9 unit gave a positive alert for the presence of narcotics, and officers conducted a search of the vehicle. A loaded Glock 19 9mm handgun, over 14 grams of crack-cocaine, about five grams of powder cocaine, 55 dosage units of MDMA, ten grams of marijuana, U.S. currency, and drug paraphernalia were reportedly located and seized.  The vehicle’s operator, 28-year-old Ryan O’Shea Hall of Goldsboro was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession with Intent to Sell & Deliver Cocaine (F) – 1 count
  • Possession with Intent to Sell & Deliver MDMA (F) – 1 count
  • Maintain a Vehicle for Controlled Substances (F) – 1 count
  • Possession of Firearm by Felon (F) – 1 count
  • Carrying a Concealed Gun (M) – 1 count
  • Simple Possession of Marijuana (M) – 1 count
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M) – 1 count

Hall received a $23,000 secured bond and was left in the custody of the Wayne County Detention Center.
