September 14, 2021, 85, Goldsboro –

Yvonne Moore Smith, age 85, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, on Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Herman E. Moore and Jeronia Jackson Moore and wife of the late Thomas Lodric Smith. She was a member of St. Joseph’s United Methodist Church.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Willowdale Cemetery. Family members will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.

 Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters, Ann (Mike) Westheimer, Terri Lee (Roger) Sutton, Lisa Hart (Lionel) Sutton; her sister, Hilda Allen; her grandchildren, Matt (Valerie) Westheimer, Josh (Heather) Westheimer, Blake (Katherine) Sutton, Faith Sutton, Savannah Sutton, Elizabeth Sutton; her great-grandchildren, Averi Westheimer, Addyson Westheimer, Landon Westheimer, Reed Westheimer, Eli Sutton and Luke Sutton.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
